| KARTIERS! The only people that can beat them are themselves. |

Premiership i'd go for Liverpool
But presume you mean't York Premier Division!
Kartiers shouldn't be fair away to be honest. got a good blend of experience and youth, Plus Dringhouses didn't look too impresive the other day!! Huntinghton had a good win though. |

| I think huntington have got to start the favourites but my money would go on kartiers especially if they have strengthened. |

Told you Karts!! Your favourite colour must be a lucky omen Kendo! The league table looks good, both ends, very close to how it`s going to finish?
To carry on the good luck Kendo you should get your pink P.V.C. cat suit back from the cleaners and wear that on the side lines. He He. |

Only Huntington player to have retired is Bob Cookland, who's been replaced with Ken Davis from Rowntrees. Rest of the side is pretty much the same, with the addition of another keeper.
Too early to call who'll be up there at the end of the season, but my money would be on Rovers, Kartiers and Dringhouses (despite their current league position) fighting it out. All 3 have strength in depth. |

In my view this season the title will go all the way, theres no way Huntington will be winning it again with games to spare. For me if Huntington are the bench mark of this league then we've got a perfect chance of winning the title. The games which ive played against them have always gone against us because of stupid errors at the back but this season we look the business back there & up front jase is just what we needed, so hopefully we can go on & win it. We'll see.. |

| The only 2 teams who look like winning the league will be huntington or dringhouses as it always is. The only other teams who look anything like posing a challenge are a dangerous attacking wiggington side or a slick dunnington outfit. As for kartiers, playing boring football with 11 defenders behind the ball for 90 mins they have no chance. Oh and the little matter of kartiers pitch ( if you can call it that ) the worst pitch in all of yorkshire and how they are allowed in the prem god only knows. Get the grass cut this year lads !! come on the champs !! |

dringhouses are a spent force they used to lose 2 games in 2 years they have lost that now and looked a shadow of the side they were so huntington yes but please wake up and smell the coffee |

Is that the same dangerous attacking Wigginton side who were beaten 3-0 recently by that boring ultra defensive Kartiers side? The same boring defensive Kartiers who put FIVE past Huntington last year? Wasnt that the day Huntington walked across that God awful pitch parading the league championship troophy!!! LOL!!!
As for the pitch, a poor workman blames his tools. A good side should be able to play on anything although it may explain why Kartiers were so poor against Tate & Lyle on the billiard table that is Selby College...
The best team will win the league, always happens that way apparently. |

Worse than Haxby??? Pitch, changing rooms, everything about the place is awful.
Huntingtons pitch is a quagmire in winter as is Cops, changing rooms aint the best at Huntington either.
St Johns is a postage stamp.
Wiggintons is very uneven as is Thorpes.
Or did you/will you do ok on all them pitches 'Champs'??
Didnt realise that to be in the top league you had to have a pitch like Tockwiths, does that mean everyone will be relegated this year? |

I remember season before last when I was at Haxby and we played Kartiers towards the end of the season (at Haxby) and it was the worst game of football I've ever had the displeasure of being involved in. Uneven pitch, bone hard, patchy grass covering and a late goal lost us the game. Lovely.
Ethel Ward is typical of a council "looked after" pitch - never rolled, cut when it doesn't need cutting and left to grow when it does need cutting.
Suppose we should be thankful we have local pitches, when you look at LNE Builders, Post Office, Civil Service who have all been booted off their old grounds. |
