So, a Thorpe vs Kartiers final. Should be a good game.

The final is normally played on Selby Town's pitch so should have a few people down watching.

its untrue- the demands for pie and chips after each game and a pint per goal were simply beyond our finances even for a player of Als quality.

obviously the high rolling teams such as thorpe will be vying for his signature able to match his extraordinary requests...... Wink

I don't think either of these sides have the right to brag they are the best team in selby ever ever ever.

So, who won then to become officially the best team in the world, Cliffe (East Riding County League Division 3) or Thorpe (York & District League Division One)?

Very flattering to be mentioned in this way, a little club like Cliffe doesnt often get such attention. Alas the form book was not ripped up as Thorpe won 3-1.

Thanks for thinking of us though!
