Kartiers are holding a training session at thorpe willoughby astro turf, starting monday 12th november 7-9.

Please try to attend these sessions as venues at the right price are hard to obtain, Plus also its what you have all been asking for!!

Carl.

With regard to tonights training session i can only describe it as throughly embarassing!!!
Only 3 of the 14 players who was involved in saturdays game attended tonights session.
May i take this opportunity to remind players kartiers management went to great lengths to obtain a slot at thorpes astro turf at a very reasonable rate as the players were saying they would like the chance to train on a weekly basis.
Myself and ian also have things we would like to do on a monday evening and we cant keep holding these sessions if they are not better attended as the club is having to subsidise the shortfall.
I urge every player to take heed of this warning otherwise we may have to pull the plug on a great opportunity to get together and train and yes have some fun as well.

Well....

Training was on a wednesday previously, but now we need floodlit facilities seen as it gets dark at half four these days.

Floodlit facilities are scarcely available and at a cost, the best value for slot was a monday night, were as wednesday is primetime and already allocated elsewhere.

Im guessing youve never tried organising such things otherwise you wouldnt have asked thus understanding the difficulties in getting the said requirements.

Monday Night is a shocking night for training!!!! Poor Poor decision.

Lads play Football Saturday and then again on the Sunday and then you plan a session for Monday Night!!!! Think about it! Then again suppose it is all about commitment.

I can name a least 3 other clubs that seem to manage training on Wednesdays and probably don't lose money due to the number of lads that show up.

3 lads shocking! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing[/url]

Lessons will be learnt, we also learnt that when it gets cold, people dont turn up for some reason.

it was only 3 from 14 that were involved in the squad last saturday, and not 3 altogether from the whole club.

Lets not forget there are some genuine reasons why people cant turn up. I For one have been to all training sessions but am struugling at the minute with my ankle but as soon as i can i will be straight back down.

My life was organised, with training on a wednesday and then someone decided to change it, you cant expect change to happen straight away, look how long it took before you left the Rose and Crown, and if push come to shove as they say, how many would prefer to be back there now??

Football is not the only thing in the world, they have family's to but your having a go, what would you prefer all footballers to be single.
