turned up just in time to see carls hakka style motivational warm up a wee bit strange to me but after seeing opening 20 mins it seemed to have a positve effect as the boys seemed to raise there game and perform quite well .with wayne brook looking very impresive and dawe hawe looking solid in more ways than one after what looked like an enjoyable holiday.. overall they were quite solid in a scrappy game and hung on in the end good stuff

A pretty fair assesment of the game that steve,we defended sloppy at times but not just the 3 at the back, collectively as a team i'd say.On a pleasing note tho you wont see any better finishes anywhere than all 3 goals we scored.Young kendos was a fantastic strike of power and accuracy, brookys was a great turn and drilled in to the far corner with his left foot.and gareths well he better come on the forum and tell us it was a shot cos i'm saying it was a cross but well done fatty.another 3pts in the bag well done lads..

Well i will tell you it was a half cross half shot but with me putting it pin point on the back post always knew it had a chance. Lee Harper told me on Sunday that he was stood in line with the flight of the ball and soon as it left my foot he knew it was in....
As for the fatty....... not a bad fatty - 2 great balls that aint been mentioned regards setting up of the two other goals bar mine. Not to mention (also) a few balls putting people through who missed there chances and then later struggled finishing there dinner there mum has prepared for them....
And just to let you know.... fatty has joined a gym due to all the flack.... lol.

Tut Tut!! It was a definate cross .... not only as i saw it clear as day, but also the comment G made straight after he scored Razz

alo ... you saying it was a shot because he took a quick glance up? so your saying he wouldnt glance up if it was a cross? lol is that how you play son? Razz

At the end of the day its G's goal, he climbs the table in the goalscorers chart Smile
