Could have been so much easier, with a little direction.....

Shame 'THE MANAGEMENT' has seen his own ass......!!!

Such a shame that the best thing to happen to Kartiers in years, is under threat by a bully....who reckons he has the best interests of the club at heart.....

Move on.........'It's the way forward.......and we all know it......'

With Captain Dave Hawe taking the team for the day, and the chance to avenge a 1-0 loss earlier in the season
Karts 2nd string approached this game with a view to a good three points and the chance to move above Copamthorpe in the league.
Gareth Rhodes was welcomed back into the squad after 18 weeks out with an eating disorder (sorry ankle injury) Scouse John (is that his real name!) made his debut on his return from Selby Rssc. Fisk returned as the right of the back three, Jackson and Taylor N started up front.

The game played on the bowling green- a misnomer if ever there was one, heavy underfoot it looked difficult for the teams to play the simple one touch that was prevalent in last weeks game.

Kartiers starting brightly were winning everything in the air with Webb feeding matt stephenson and in the early exchanges Kartiers were well on top, with only a combination of poor finishing and bad luck preventing Taylor and Jackson from putting the game well beyond the reach of copmanthorpe in the opening 20 mins.

At the Back, Taylor was in imperious form, with the best game he's had this season however with slack marking at set pieces and a big team, Copmanthorpe looked dangerous.

It was at the other end where the breakthrough finally came, a lofted ball was punched high into the air, Webb was underneath it in the box and headed it back into the danger area for Jackson to rise and find the top corner (with his massive heed).

1-0 at half time.

the second half started in much the same manner with Kartiers picking the copmanthorpe team apart with Brown working well with Taylor, Browns pace causing problems throughout in the space on the left.
Scouse settling into the free role behind the front two had displayed some nice touches but hadnt created anything at this point, though was a magnet for the Cop dead ball kicks with most of them coming direct to him.

A careless tackle 25 yds out set up a free kick for copmanthorpe, who took advantage of this and buried the kick into the top corner. Aldridge without a cap is more than capable of dealing with these, and must be disappointed that he lost it in the sun.

5 mins later and disaster, wing back Singh, offering plenty moving forward was caught out of position and the copmanthorpe player clear through made it 2-1.

Webb limped off with a recurrence of his ankle problem to be replaced by Rhodes. Jackson working his way back to fitness was replaced by Tessyman.

At this point Scouse John stepped up and showed real quality, finding the space as the copmanthorpe team tired.

Singh was the first to benefit, recieving the ball wide, putting in a dangerous ball that Taylor N struck beautifully into the bottom corner, it was the first ball caught properly all game and showed what he is capable of.

Scouse then set Tessyman away with a great ball, he rounded the keeper and suddenly it was 3-2.

Kartiers held on with a good save by aldridge to keep Cop out, sticking a leg out when a cop forward had a good chance to equalise.

Well done to Dave Hawe for taking the team in difficult circumstances, solid game

Bullies cower and hide when tables are turned on them.

You know where I am arsehole, bring your keyboard with you as you seem to be a lot braver with one of them in front of you.

Thanks for making any decision due to be made a lot easier.

He holds a strange record, that of being the first player to represent England at all possible levels, schoolboy, youth, amateur, under-23 and the full team, manager(head coach), and most recently assistant coach.
